Last weekend we had a little slumber party at my parents' house and had a great time laughing, playing games and just spending time together. Now that the three of us are adults with two kiddos it is a rarity that we're all together spending the night; clearly we need to, though, because it really was a hoot.

This new game sounded great, but it was harder than it looked. Of course Erik won easily and I was thinking of lesson plans on how to apply this in my classroom while we're going over grammar and the structure of sentences. All the while we were laughing at the "sentences" that were being created.

It really was a fun evening... goofy! That game and mom's sentences were seriously wacked!
