Trick or Treating

We had a great time out and about in Becker on Sunday. Once again I was reminded just how much I love our community and neighborhood as well as the company of great friends --- the Changas and Feierabends. It was fun to see Anthony enjoying the whole experience and really getting into leading the pack from door to door, ringing the doorbell, excitedly saying trick or treat and running away with a thank you and thoughts of scarfing down candy in the near future. He had an absolute blast.
The trio
Ry, Cam and Anthony
The kids are dressed and ready to go!
What a beautiful night to be out.
My favorite Superman ever!
The Changas on their first trick or treating experience with Ru (and daddy!). The little monkey did a great job.

They're still smiling and having fun even though their legs hurt from walking, there was that darn jumping wolf and the sidewalks were crowded with other little goblins!

Carrying a sleeping Ru was one of the best parts!

As we were walking the last block back to our house Jenn and I were looking at the group in front of us smiling. When we looked at each other it was apparent we were both thinking the same thing. Even though the night was meant for the kids there was a lot of joy and fun for everyone. It was one of those heartwarming moments when you are filled with thanks for the company of great friends for your child and yourself. We are greatly blessed.
