Messy Happiness

What a beautiful October! Not only are the leaves changing giving us a spectacular view on a daily basis, the weather has been reminiscent of summer. This whole week it's as if June, July & August wanted to give us one last goodbye before fall completely set in and we moved closer to the winter months.
On Friday it was 85 degrees when I picked up Anthony and we drove home with the windows down soaking in all of the fresh, warm air. When we got home much to the delight of Anthony we heard the sound of summer ---the undeniable jingle of the ice cream truck. Shortly after we began our search through the neighborhood trying to obtain a final glimmer of the sight we both love - ice cream.
Anthony ordered a Scooby Doo treat one last time and we headed home. In the backyard we swung together, shades on, ice cream dripping everywhere. It was absolutely enjoyable and a reminder that all of the craziness throughout the school year is worth it. I get months of sticky ice cream fingers, impromptu pool parties, having lunch on the deck, searching for bugs, digging in the dirt and spending time with my sometimes super messy face Bubsa Boo.

Classic Anthony. I see a touch of Camden in these crazy photos and I LOVE it.
