On the west side of our house we are planning on taking out this large and growing absolutely EVERYWHERE bush. We would like to replace it with a variety of perennials that bring lots of color, interest and curb appeal. Any suggestions?

If you're interested in hardy plants that attract butterflies and hummingbirds as well as provide lots of color, coneflowers of any variety and beebalm are a great choice. Also Black-eyed susans, daisies, butterfly weed, and gailardia (little goblins). And they all make great cut flowers, if your like me and want to bring flowers in the house to put in a vase:) Good luck!
