Joni has now been elevated to the coolest person EVER in Anthony's eyes. He's always enjoyed her visits and has fun playing when she comes over. However, today he was able to get messy and have fun, which is always the best combination for little boys! I couldn't help but smile and then quickly grab my camera when I came home to this sight.
Finger paints! He was a bit messy and had paint just about everywhere by the time he got done, but the look on his face says it all. He was having a blast exploring the colors, texture and the goo between his fingers. How fun!
Clapping was a lot of fun too! Especially since the paint started to splatter on his body as well as the wall behind him. Can you see the joy in his face?
Thank you so much Joni for not just watching Anthony today, but using your gifts and talents to teach him how to finger paint. You certainly are brave and completely loved by us!

Yeah! I love Joni - what a wonderful idea! Get messy while mom is at work... Anthony is BEYOND enjoying himself!

Fantastic shots. Anthony's face in the 2nd one is priceless! I don't think he enjoyed himself...you'd better avoid finger painting in the future.
