This is the face of a kid who has been hurt and continues to hurt each and everyday.
Today the second part, the home visit, of Anthony's special education assessment was completed. It took over three hours and now I am left waiting, wondering and hoping. I know our A doesn't look like he's any of those three; for the most part he comes across as a kid who is enjoying life. But the hurt is undoubtedly there, which causes behavior that is harmful and hurtful to himself and others. He needs help and will continue to need help as he enters into preschool next year. Whatever happens is now out of my control. I pray that whatever is best for Anthony will transpire so we know what direction to take for this next step in his life.
