Beach Bums

It feels like summer is officially here!  This morning we spent time with the Gunderson family at Big Lake beach.  Even though it was a bit breezy the kids had a great time playing and the adults had a great time chatting.  Hopefully we'll be able to go back soon and enjoy another beautiful day.

Thank you Hanson family for the cute swimsuit outfit!  He was quite the cutie on the beach today!

Anthony and Dada did go into the water right away, but he got super chilly.  Playing with sand and going down the slides turned out to be a much better idea.  Hopefully next time it will be a bit warmer.

I love the outfit, what a sunny guy! I hope you and Mark matched too! Thanks again for having the garage sale, I got your message, sorry I missed you, dad and I were having a few laughs/drinks...whatever you want to call it in my family! I told him what Mike said and had to repeat it about 5 times so he can tell the people he works with!!! I love my dad, but I really hope you and Anthony have some more "structured/normal" boundries as he grows! Thanks again and you are seriously my biggest rock star of the week! I am still thinking about that awesome chicken.

OH, and in my defense, I really was trying with the freezy pop, that was a hard concept to explain and harder to demonstrate to non-super-verbal children. Clara wasn't super impressed with my abilities either, she totally looked at me with the Charlie look of "gosh, you are really dumb"...it was great. So yeah, freezy pops and myself are not so great of friends and next time I see one...well I might run! I did tell all of the children about the 5 second rule, which I am really thinking you all enforce, because if you don't, I feel like a fool...

What a cutie! Anthony was probably the most stylin' kid on the beach! It's clear that he loves being outside and hanging out with his little buddies or even by himself. He always looks so happy and like he's having the best time. I really enjoy the pictures and your great posts. :)
